Warning! Motorsport can be dangerous!

Two separate drivers on two separate tracks in two separate incidents. Tara Herm was practising at Daytona Milton Keynes on Sunday when she went flying out of the kart after unavoidably colliding with someone who'd crashed in front of her. Kate Broadbent was racing at Bayford Meadows when her kart went flying after someone did a crazy move whilst she was legitimately overtaking him on the inside.

Both incidents were spectacular and scary. Both drivers are fine, although Kate's chassis is going to the fabricators tomorrow to be straightened, and one of Tara's karting boots is scuffed. (When I talked to Tara about the incident, her scuffed boot was the thing she was most miffed about.)

Even so, Tara and Kate are both racing again this evening at Teamsport Mitcham. And I don't think anything is going to stop them flying around the track (not off it though).
