Racing Women Global Competition
23 December 2025

Congratulations to Kate Broadbent for getting through to the final of the Racing Women Global Competition. Kate will be going to Sweden at the end of February to compete in the final on ice. She’ll be competing in a series of ice driving, fitness and media challenges.
Racing Women are looking for drivers to be part of their 2026 Radical racing team, and the winners of the global competition will get a chance to train and race professionally with Racing Women in the 2026 season.
Kate was one of 85 equally keen and enthusiastic ladies who took part in an assessment day at Bedford Autodrome, where the competitors faced fitness, reaction and media challenges, sat a written exam to test motorsport knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment, and drove karts to test driving skill.
Only 10 of the 85 have made it through to the final in Sweden.
Kate’s so excited and enthusiastic about the final that she’s already signed up to two preparatory training session with Racing Women in January at Bedford Autodrome and Donington Park. Good luck to Kate!
